The Ask: Who doesn’t love LEGO? The answer: adults. Where kids see limitless imagination, adults see hundred-piece plastic puzzles that end up lost under couches or corner pieces that feel like stepping on broken glass.

The Idea: I grew up obsessed with the LEGO Mars Mission sets, organizing intergalactic expeditions and battles between solar systems from the comfort of my bedroom. Then I grew up and realized life can kind of suck. The bright side? Sometimes it’s as simple as a toy waiting for you at home after another monotonous day in the "matrix" to reawaken that inner child.

The Work: A long-format, stop-motion video that captures the universal woes of everyday life and the only way to break out: child-like imagination.
